Mr. and Mrs. Ellis are MARRIED!!!! I know how long they have waited for this day - even though they had a less than one year engagement, they were SO ready to begin their lives together since day one. From our first call together, I could easily see how meant to be they are as husband and wife.

It was one of those classic North Carolina summer days—hot, bright, and full of love. Gracie and Logan tied the knot surrounded by their closest family and friends at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church in Monroe, NC, and celebrated into the evening at the beautiful Elegant Lane in Wingate.

From the very beginning, Gracie and Logan brought so much joy to every step of this journey. They’re the kind of couple who are not only head-over-heels for each other, but also genuinely fun to be around. We built such a sweet friendship throughout the planning and sessions, and by the time their wedding day arrived, it truly felt like I was photographing two dear friends. Their engagement portraits + Gracie's bridal portraits went so well that they were obsessed with the results.

One of my favorite things about these two? They love being in front of the camera! Their energy is contagious, and you can feel the connection they share in every photo. Whether it was a quiet moment during golden hour portraits or a full-on dance floor celebration, they made capturing their love story feel effortless.

Before the ceremony, Gracie and Logan shared an emotional first touch and prayer together. Without seeing each other, they stood back to back, holding hands and taking a quiet moment to breathe, exchange vows, pray, and let it all sink in. It was one of the most heartfelt parts of the day—a moment filled with anticipation, love, and gratitude. You could feel how centered they were in their Faith and in each other.

And then came the moment Logan saw Gracie walk down the aisle—his emotions said everything. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as he wiped away tears and watched the love of his life make her way toward him. Their ceremony was simple, sincere, and full of meaning. The unity ceremony included sand, and all of the family came up to pray over the new Mr. and Mrs.

Afterward, we all headed to Elegant Lane, where the celebration truly came to life. The reception space was filled with soft summer colors, romantic florals, and all the little details that made the evening feel intimate and intentional. Their deep connection with family was woven throughout the day—from the way their parents looked at them during the ceremony to the support and joy radiating from their loved ones during toasts and dances.

One of my favorite highlights? A Sunset Slush stand—such a fun and refreshing surprise for guests on a warm June evening. It added the perfect playful touch and kept everyone cool and happy all evening long.

As the sun dipped lower, the dance floor filled up and stayed full. Gracie and Logan, surrounded by all their favorite people, danced the night away with huge smiles and so much energy. It was clear that this was not just a wedding—it was a true celebration of two people who are deeply loved and supported.

To top off the night, guests lined up for a whimsical bubble exit, sending the new Mr. and Mrs. off in a shower of laughter and floating bubbles. It was the sweetest, most joyful end to an unforgettable day.

Gracie and Logan, thank you for letting me be a part of your love story. Your kindness, your joy, and your love for each other lit up every moment of your wedding day. I’m so grateful to know you both—and I already can’t wait to have you back in front of my camera someday.
