“Sweethearts & Sidewalks: Bekah & Seth’s Downtown Engagement”

Photographing Bekah and Seth’s engagement session felt like coming full circle. I’ve known these two since high school, so getting to capture their love story was extra special—not just because of their obvious chemistry, but because of all the shared memories and laughs that came flooding back throughout the shoot. Here's a peek into our fun and sentimental evening—and why this session set the perfect tone for their wedding next May.

We started their session at the church where they’ll be saying “I do” next May. There was something really beautiful about beginning in such a meaningful place—quiet, peaceful, and full of anticipation for what’s ahead. Watching them walk hand-in-hand through the same space where they’ll exchange vows gave the whole shoot a sense of grounded joy. Bekah looked radiant in the soft natural light surrounding us, and the way Seth looked at her—you could tell this is the real deal.

After soaking in those quiet moments, we headed downtown to shake things up. And honestly? We had so much fun. The city energy completely matched their playful vibe. From utilizing architectural buildings to unexpected pops of texture and light, every spot gave us something fresh to work with. They were totally down for anything—running in the street, sneaking kisses, and laughing their way through the whole thing. It didn’t feel like posing for photos—it felt like hanging out with two people who are just really in love and really happy to be together.

What made it even more fun for me was the chance to catch up with them in between shots. We joked about high school memories, swapped life updates, and celebrated how far we’ve all come since those days. It reminded me how special it is to document not just a couple’s engagement, but the whole story that brought them here. Bekah and Seth’s engagement session wasn’t just about pretty photos—it was a time capsule of where they’ve been, who they are, and where they’re headed. We laughed our way through churches and chatty coffee shops, turning their genuine moments into lasting memories.

Bekah and Seth’s wedding next May is going to be incredible—I just know it. If this session was any indication, it’ll be full of heart, laughter, meaningful moments, and a whole lot of joy.

Can’t wait to be there to capture every bit of it. Let’s go, 2026! 💍🎉
